It's a party-sized prepared mix that's bursting with flavours associated with Christmas time, making it perfect for your festive gathering. Any leftover citrus syrup to use in brunch beverages, puddings, or to make additional servings of this cocktail.
Bikini Recipe
Makes enough for 10 guests
To make the Citrus Syrup (yields 750ml)
300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
To make the Drink (yields 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml good quality vodka
100ml London dry gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml citrus syrup (from the recipe above)
Whole cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Method
To prepare the Cordial: Combine all the items in a pot, bring to a light boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Next, take off the heat and let it to cool down entirely. Transfer into a clean bottle, cap it and store in the fridge, it can be stored for around one month.
Preparing the Batch Mix: Mix all the spirits and syrup into one big jug, allow it to infuse for an hour, then strain preferably using a fine cloth, making it completely strained.
To serve: Add 85ml of the cocktail base to a stirring glass containing ice, and agitate carefully for a minute to chill. Pour into an cold coupe glass or a similar vessel, top with the cranberries and complete it with a quick spritz of mandarin oil over the drink.
